Calm & Simple presents

About The Dancing Sage

A gentle place for women who have spent years caring, working, carrying responsibilities, and sometimes losing sight of themselves along the way.

A note from Collette

I've been there, and I want to help

Hi, I'm Collette, and I'd like to take a moment to introduce myself.

For more than 25 years I worked in technology. Somewhere between the corporate climb and the everyday, I got lost. There were difficulties with family. After 45, my body stopped working the way it always had. Food started to feel like the enemy, and I finally had to give up my glass of wine.

Maybe some of that sounds familiar. From 40 onward, so many of us go through a stretch of crazy: the mood swings, the restlessness, the feeling that something is missing, and a quiet despair we don't always talk about.

I've been through it, and I'm still here. That's why I created The Dancing Sage: to do my very best to help women living through the same season, with honest encouragement, a little humour and small, doable ways to feel like yourself again.

I'm here, I've been there, and I want to help.

Lots of warm thoughts,
Collette

Why She Was Created

The Dancing Sage began with a simple belief: women do not become less valuable as they grow older. They carry experience, humour, tenderness, strength, and wisdom that deserve to be seen and celebrated.

She was created by Collette, a Canadian woman who spent many years building a career, caring for others, and learning firsthand how easily stress can crowd out the quieter parts of life. The Dancing Sage grew from a desire to help other women pause, breathe, and remember that they still matter too.
